When I was 16 years old, my dog died in February. His name was Teddy Green and he was named after a hockey player for the Boston Bruins. He was an energetic dog that very likable. Sadly, he was struggling to walk. His hind legs were failing him. We brought him to the veterinarian who said there was nothing he could do for him. We had no choice but to put Teddy to sleep. The ride home was somber as well as the rest of the evening. That night, a light snow had fallen. My mom asked me to go to the car to get something.
As I opened the back door, I saw dog paw prints all over the porch. A fresh snow had fallen so a dog had come to the back door. I looked to the left and saw a trail of dog paw prints into the back yard and over the fence. I looked to the right and saw another trail that led into the yard to the fence before disappearing in the street. What are the odds that another dog would come to our back door on the same day that our dog died. It had to be Teddy, coming back to say goodbye one last time.
